Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst providing financial data and reporting for Cleveland Clinic. Involved in budgeting, revenue cycle management, and analysis for strategic support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the organization's needs.
- Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information.
- Provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues.
- Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes.
- Retrieve and manipulate complex information with database tools, such as SAS and Teradata.
- Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and four years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience OR Master’s degree and three years of experience OR Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience and three years of experience
- Ability to complete sophisticated analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation
- Ability to lead projects and people
- Strong understanding of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development
- Master’s degree
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Revenue and finance experience
- Experience in hospital systems and revenue cycle exposure
- Technical skills such as Oracle, Excel, Microsoft Office, Snowflake and EPIC Revenue Cycle management experience
