Job Description
Senior .NET developer building scalable marketing, data, and customer applications for automotive OEMs and dealerships. Leading enterprise engineering projects with modern cloud, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services for marketing, data processing, and consumer-facing web platforms
- Build solutions supporting major automotive OEM programs and hundreds of dealership clients nationwide
- Collaborate with executive leadership, product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams
- Research, prototype, and implement new technologies, proof-of-concepts, and platform enhancements
- Influence product direction, APIs, and technical standards
- Lead projects from concept through deployment
- Improve platform performance, scalability, reliability, and developer efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems and production environments
- Mentor and guide developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices
- Participate in CI/CD and automated deployment workflows
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience building enterprise applications
- Strong experience with full stack .NET application development
- Advanced proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
- Experience with Angular, Vue.js, or React
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and related data technologies
- Familiarity with distributed caching, search, streaming, and large-scale data platforms such as Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Snowflake, Cassandra, or similar technologies
- Strong foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and application performance
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience with TDD, automated testing, CI/CD, and code quality tooling
- Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar technologies
- Proven ability to independently drive projects to successful completion
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative development environment
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications preferred
- Experience designing and deploying .NET solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP with Kubernetes, serverless functions, or virtualized infrastructure preferred
- Experience building high-scale SaaS or multi-tenant applications preferred
- Automotive industry experience is a plus
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and performance optimization tools is a plus
- Must reside within the Continental U.S.; Eastern or Central time zones highly preferred
- Ability to support 8:30AM–5:30PM EST hours
