Job Description

Software Engineer resolving complex customer issues in Aras Innovator, Aras’s enterprise low-code PLM platform. Developing fixes, enhancements, and reliability improvements across SaaS, on-premises, and hybrid deployments.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, resolve, and prevent production issues affecting Aras Innovator customers
  • Investigate complex issues and identify root causes across the application stack
  • Drive escalated customer issues through analysis, fix development, testing, and deployment
  • Develop enhancements and product improvements addressing customer-reported issues
  • Evaluate technical approaches and work with product teams to refine solutions
  • Support customer upgrades and adapt existing functionality to newer product versions
  • Balance incoming escalations with planned improvement work
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern engineering and AI-assisted development practices
  • Use troubleshooting and profiling tools to diagnose performance and stability issues
  • Improve CI/CD and DevOps practices to streamline delivery
  • Enhance platform reliability, scalability, performance, and security
  • Share knowledge and improve support and engineering practices

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of commercial software development experience with .NET in production
  • Strong knowledge of C#/.NET
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with MS SQL Server and strong T-SQL
  • Experience using troubleshooting, diagnostic, and profiling tools
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP-based standards such as OData
  • Proficiency with Git or another distributed version control system
  • Experience working in Agile or Kanban development environments
  • Intermediate+ or higher English proficiency, spoken and written
  • Ability to use AI tools effectively in daily engineering work, including development, debugging, troubleshooting, and productivity tasks
  • Experience working with large enterprise systems and legacy environments
  • Experience with client-side development
  • Direct experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS or Azure Container Apps), and Helm
