Job Description
Senior full-stack engineer building Grafana Marketplace, catalog, and plugin delivery systems. Developing Go, TypeScript, and React features for Grafana’s observability platform.
Responsibilities:
- Grow the Grafana plugin ecosystem
- Own the Grafana Marketplace, including paid plugins, publisher onboarding, and customer access
- Maintain the plugin catalog in grafana.com and inside Grafana
- Manage plugin installation and management in Grafana and Grafana Cloud
- Own plugin publishing, signing, validation, and CDN delivery
- Review plugins before publication
- Improve developer tooling and the developer portal
- Build Marketplace features across the Grafana frontend, Go services, and grafana.com
- Improve plugin discovery and installation for users and agents
- Make plugin development, testing, and publishing easier and faster
- Automate and improve the plugin review process
- Support operations and reliability of plugin installs and delivery in Grafana Cloud
- Engage plugin developers and partners and incorporate feedback into roadmap items
- Collaborate with the Grafana Division
Requirements:
- Solid experience with Golang and TypeScript
- Experience with React and building user-facing web applications
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservices
- Experience writing clean, robust, performant, and maintainable software
- Experience participating in an on-call rotation and performing operations/SRE tasks
- Candidates must be based in the US or Canada, within the Eastern or Central time zones
- Comfortable working in a remote-first company
