Job Description

Senior Inside Solutions Architect managing technology solutions within targeted accounts. Collaborating with partners and advising on pricing to enhance client solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing business systems analysis, conducts assessments to understand client challenges and business objectives
  • Designs and presents technical solution configurations based on client needs and solution pricing, recommending applicable services as part of the overall client solution
  • Collaborates with partners to design technical solutions as needed
  • Advises on pricing programs and deal registration
  • Serves as subject matter expert to Account Managers on technology solution
  • Partners with Account Managers and Sales Managers to identify IT solutions opportunities and target these accounts with proactive engagement
  • Leverages Company tools to identify strategic prospects for advanced technology solutions
  • Engages in customer calls to discover and qualify advanced technology opportunities within these accounts
  • Increases knowledge of technology in respective practice area, keeps abreast of changes, and maintains or achieves certifications for professional developments
  • Attends applicable industry and manufacturer training sessions to increase knowledge in respective practice area
  • Achieves vendor certifications through online or onsite training
  • Works with sales teams, sales managers, and account managers to ensure that sales teams are fully enabled on the advanced technology solutions and are fully aware of the TSG portfolio
  • Regularly attends and contributes to sales team calls, provides targeted enablement trainings internally to sales teams on current, new, or emerging solution sets, and supports events such as Tech Showcase, Tech Summit, and vendor conferences in a sales-support and enablement function
  • Executes strategic initiatives toward organizational, solution, and business development
  • Participates in a contributing or Team Lead role on one or more Solution Development teams and maintains good attendance, on-time, high-quality work product
  • Works with peers including Field Solution Architects (FSAs) and Practice Engineers on internal tactical development initiatives, such as building new solutions and services for the TSG advanced technology portfolio
  • Assists with the building of internal organizational processes and go-to-market initiatives

Requirements:

  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
  • Cisco WebEx and relevant internal business systems
  • High aptitude to stay current and train on related technology areas
  • Account planning skills with experience in up-sell and cross-sell strategies
  • Articulate with ability to clearly demonstrate value proposition to customer
  • Action oriented with strong executional skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and negotiation skills
  • Multi-tasker with high energy, and excels in a fast-paced, dynamic call center environment
  • Previous experience working for a manufacturer or vendor is a plus
  • Professional level Aruba certification preferred
