Job Description
Senior TPM leader delivering TensorWave’s 100 MW+ AI data center builds. Governing phase gates, schedules, contractors, and a scalable program-management team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Technical Program Management team responsible for data center design and build delivery across major campuses of 100 MW and above
- Own the thirteen-gate delivery framework from site qualification through revenue service
- Govern gate package quality, review cadence, outcomes, conditional-pass tracking, and turnover acceptance by Operations
- Build and manage a team of four to eight technical program managers
- Own hiring plans, capacity allocation, performance calibration, career development, onboarding, and training
- Own the design and build layer of the integrated master schedule, including critical path logic, gate milestones, interlocks, procurement commitments, and fit-out sequencing
- Produce reliable portfolio status for executive leadership
- Hold general contractors, landlords, colocation partners, and vendors accountable for scope, schedule, and deliverable quality
- Manage interface milestone discipline for colocation sites
- Diagnose high-priority delivery blockers, drive decisions, and communicate recovery plans in writing
- Capture cycle-time data, incorporate lessons into the playbook, and improve delivery velocity across sites
Requirements:
- 8 to 12 years in technical program management or delivery leadership, with at least 2 to 3 years managing people
- Direct ownership of data center design and construction delivery at scale
- Experience with multiple concurrent sites or a large multi-phase campus taken from design through commissioning and into service
- Demonstrated command of stage gate delivery governance
- Fluency in schedule logic at Primavera P6 grade or equivalent
- Critical path analysis, risk register discipline, and decision logs
- Working depth across data center infrastructure, including power architecture, cooling including liquid cooling, structured cabling and fiber plant, and commissioning structures
- Track record of moving engineering organizations, general contractors, and vendors without direct authority
- Proven ability to build, develop, and retain a team of program managers
- Executive communication that leads with the conclusion
- Regular travel to assigned construction site, at minimum monthly, with extended on-site presence during energization and commissioning; estimated travel 30 to 40 percent
- CDCDP, CDCP, or equivalent formal data center certification preferred
- Experience delivering AI density whitespace preferred
- Hyperscale, GPU cloud, or AI infrastructure background preferred
- Experience with greenfield builds and colocation tenant deployments preferred
- Experience standing up a program management function preferred
- Familiarity with GPU cluster deployment preferred
- Candidates based near Las Vegas or Richmond hubs preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States required
