Job Description
Senior Total Rewards Manager shaping compensation and benefits for Carrier’s climate and energy solutions workforce across Benelux and Nordics. Leading reward strategy, benchmarking, benefits harmonization, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as part of the Total Rewards Centre of Expertise Team, consulting with business HR teams on Total Rewards matters
- Lead the local Total Rewards strategy and interface between Corporate Total Rewards, local HR Business Partners, and regional HR
- Support business plans through strategic and tactical compensation and reward interventions focused on talent attraction and retention
- Benchmark salaries, variable pay, and benefit spend against the market
- Manage the benefits portfolio for approximately 1,000 employees
- Ensure reward initiatives comply with relevant legislation
- Design and develop the region’s reward strategy within global compensation and reward policies
- Act as a knowledge source on compensation and reward
- Develop cost-effective employee reward approaches
- Manage reward projects within budget and implement them with stakeholders
- Develop pay and reward strategies using benchmarking and market analysis
- Identify benefit harmonization opportunities and negotiate with suppliers
- Support pay structures and annual compensation planning
- Support incentive scheme management and harmonization
- Provide reward advice and solutions to customer groups
- Lead regional Reward communications and branding
- Advise on cross-border and expatriate reward cases and country legislative requirements
- Lead provider negotiations and manage broker and supplier relationships
- Support regional ESG goals through reward tools and policies
- Enhance the financial and health wellbeing strategy
- Encourage harmonized service delivery across Total Rewards, HRBPs, and operational HR teams
- Ensure adherence to company policies, Environmental Health and Safety procedures, Ethics & Compliance standards, and International Trade Compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Prior experience in compensation and reward positions operating on a multi-country basis
- Experience identifying and implementing strategic change requirements and compensation and reward solutions in a fast-paced, competitive environment
- Experience operating as a centre of expertise in a Shared Service environment
- Experience in large international companies
- Ability to manage conflicting internal stakeholder priorities with resilience and strong influencing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
- Good presentation skills
- Analytical and numerate
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures in the Benelux region
- Ability to adapt and learn
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
- Ability to travel within the region and wider European area as required
- Ability to self-motivate, prioritize, and maintain focus in a shifting-priority environment
- Compliance with company policies, Environmental Health and Safety procedures, Ethics & Compliance standards, and International Trade Compliance requirements
