Job Description

Senior Product Manager defining AI usage controls for Akamai, which secures browsers, desktops, apps, data, and devices. Driving cybersecurity product strategy from research through launch.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the product roadmap for AI Usage control
  • Engage with CISOs and security teams to understand challenges and translate insights into product requirements
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities
  • Use product engagement data, customer feedback, and key metrics to improve usability, adoption, and retention
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from conceptualization to launch
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success
  • Define, prioritize, and refine product features
  • Maintain a well-structured backlog and ensure efficient execution
  • Act as a product evangelist to communicate product value and drive adoption and growth

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience in cybersecurity products
  • Expertise and experience in Network security or AI security
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work effectively in high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
