Job Description
Senior Product Manager defining AI usage controls for Akamai, which secures browsers, desktops, apps, data, and devices. Driving cybersecurity product strategy from research through launch.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product roadmap for AI Usage control
- Engage with CISOs and security teams to understand challenges and translate insights into product requirements
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities
- Use product engagement data, customer feedback, and key metrics to improve usability, adoption, and retention
- Lead the product development lifecycle from conceptualization to launch
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success
- Define, prioritize, and refine product features
- Maintain a well-structured backlog and ensure efficient execution
- Act as a product evangelist to communicate product value and drive adoption and growth
Requirements:
- 6+ years of Product Management experience in cybersecurity products
- Expertise and experience in Network security or AI security
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work effectively in high-growth, fast-paced environments
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
