Job Description
Senior Product Manager owning ActivityHero’s roadmap for Aeries, an EdTech company serving K-12 districts. Driving discovery, AI-enabled product development, launches, and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the ActivityHero product roadmap aligned with company goals and customer needs
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, customer experience, and sales teams to deliver product features
- Manage scrum and release cycles with the remote engineering team
- Define product requirements and user stories
- Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and customer feedback
- Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate to improve user experience
- Own beta and pilot program strategy, including customer selection, evaluation criteria, and synthesis
- Maintain expertise in K-12 district personas in the expanded learning space
- Use AI tools for research, competitive analysis, opportunity assessment, requirements drafting, and stakeholder communications
- Evaluate and recommend AI/ML capabilities for SIS platform integration
- Champion AI literacy across the product team
- Drive cross-functional and cross-divisional alignment and build consensus
- Lead go-to-market alignment and own the post-launch feedback loop with Customer Success
- Engage with customers and external stakeholders at conferences and advisory sessions
- Improve product development workflows and tooling by establishing standardized processes and adoption
- Build and maintain dashboards and KPI tracking for product performance, customer feedback trends, and feature impact
- Travel up to 5% to conferences and industry events across California
Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS Product Management experience
- Demonstrated expertise in customer research, discovery, and prototype-based validation
- Demonstrated experience in K-12 EdTech, Student Information Systems, or education administration software strongly preferred
- Experience with structured discovery frameworks
- Familiarity with product analytics platforms
- Strong knowledge of Agile processes and iterative product development
- Agile or product management certification is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira, Aha!, or equivalent product management tools
- Experience with AI prototyping and productivity tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, and Figma
- Must work from one of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming
- Reliable, distraction-minimized home workspace
- Ability to travel as required
- Work authorization: Aeries Software, LLC is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas
