Job Description
Product Manager at Inmetrics defining AI/ML product strategies and translating user needs into roadmaps. Leading cross-functional collaboration to deliver continuous value.
Responsibilities:
- Define the what and why of the product — translate user needs and business objectives into a clear roadmap, prioritize what will be built, and align engineering, design, and stakeholders to continuously deliver value.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years in Product Management, with at least 2 years working on AI/ML products
- Experience with the full lifecycle of SaaS products (discovery → release → growth)
- Familiarity with ML fundamentals (training, evaluation, model deployment)
- Understanding of LLMs, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), fine-tuning, and limitations of generative AI
- Ability to read and discuss code; not required to be a developer, but able to understand technical trade-offs
- Knowledge of data pipelines and MLOps tools (basic level)
- Ability to define roadmaps for products with high technical uncertainty
- Prioritization using frameworks adapted for AI (e.g., treating model quality as a variable)
- Writing PRDs for AI features, including evaluation criteria (evals)
- Experience with A/B testing and product metrics (retention, NPS, activation)
- Communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Managing expectations in projects with probabilistic outcomes
- Critical thinking about ethics, bias, and responsibility in AI
- Close collaboration with Data Science, Engineering, and Design teams
- Experience with AI platforms: OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI, Vertex AI (nice to have)
- Familiarity with emerging regulations (EU AI Act, LGPD as applied to AI) (nice to have)
- Track record of launching AI features into production with measurable impact (nice to have)
- Background in high-growth B2B SaaS companies (nice to have)
