Job Description

Senior Security Architect contributing to security architecture for municipal virtualization services. Analyzing security, privacy, and compliance issues in digital service transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the security, privacy and compliance issues related to the transformation of digital services;
  • Contribute to defining the target security architecture in alignment with business, IT and technology architectures;
  • Identify security requirements, expected controls and constraints to consider in target scenarios;
  • Produce recommendations related to data protection, access management and risk reduction;
  • Participate in gap analyses between current mechanisms and future security needs;
  • Document security architecture decisions, assumptions and residual risks;
  • Collaborate with other experts to ensure an integrated, realistic and defensible vision;
  • Contribute to the quality and compliance of the engagement's architectural deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant university degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience;
  • Have at least 8 years of relevant experience in security architecture, solution security or applied cybersecurity;
  • Have a strong understanding of security issues in complex, multi-system digital environments;
  • Experience defining security requirements, performing risk analysis and integrating security controls into architecture;
  • Ability to translate security issues into concrete, understandable guidance for stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of recognized frameworks, standards or practices in architecture and security (an asset);
  • Professional judgment, thorough documentation skills and a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Excellent communication skills in French.
