Job Description
Senior ServiceNow Developer designing and maintaining ITSM workflows, integrations, and AI capabilities. Supporting GDIT’s technology solutions for government, defense, and intelligence agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain forms, flows, catalog items, integrations, and related ServiceNow components
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, process owners, and platform engineers to define requirements
- Support Agile ceremonies and uphold quality assurance throughout the lifecycle
- Adhere to and enforce ServiceNow and OneGDIT best practices
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and deployments
- Participate in standups, planning, grooming, and estimation to ensure quality delivery
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers
- Contribute to the success and stability of the ServiceNow environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in prompt engineering, Now Assist, and agentic AI
- 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience within an ITSM environment
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and platform capabilities
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), or ability to obtain CSA certification within 90 days
- Extensive experience designing forms, UI policies, client scripts, workflows, business rules, integrations, and custom applications
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Must be a U.S. person
- Preferred certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM; Certified Application Developer - ITSM; Advanced ITSM certifications; ITIL v4 Certification
- No security clearance currently required or required to obtain
