Job Description

Senior Software Engineer building integrations for Infios supply-chain software. Connecting warehouse systems with ERP platforms, carriers, and trading partners using C# and .NET.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration services connecting WMS to ERP systems, carriers, and trading partners
  • Develop a thorough understanding of product architecture and integration patterns within 6 months
  • Design and develop feature enhancements and resolve bugs independently and with the squad
  • Ensure products are high quality and completed on time
  • Deliver against project velocity, quality, and estimation-accuracy metrics
  • Guard the squad's code, processes, and best practices
  • Identify gaps and propose enhancements in integration architecture
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Improve product-development methods to increase productivity and quality
  • Share ideas for process, workflow, and continuous-improvement initiatives
  • Mentor junior developers in processes, technologies, products, design patterns, and coding styles
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organization
  • Communicate requirements and align solutions with organizational goals
  • Produce technical documentation, code demos, and concise written communications
  • Participate in the Agile process
  • In the first year, develop integration-architecture knowledge, deliver integration features, improve reliability and error handling, mentor junior team members, and contribute to standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in C# .NET development
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an Agile development environment
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, commercial software
  • Experience mentoring or guiding more junior team members
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate major technical problems and corresponding solutions
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or ERP integration domains
  • Preferred: Experience in integration/middleware development connecting enterprise systems
  • Strong working knowledge of C# and .NET Framework 4.8
  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Proficiency in creating and consuming OData/REST APIs including Swagger/OpenAPI
  • Experience with WCF service development and consumption
  • MSSQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, and complex queries
  • NHibernate ORM mappings, session management, and criteria API
  • EDI document processing (850, 856, 810, 753)
  • JSON/XML data transformation and mapping
  • Debugging and troubleshooting distributed systems
  • Azure DevOps, Git version control, branching, and pull request workflows
  • Preferred: Experience with ERP systems and APIs, including SAP Business One, D365 Business Central, Oracle NetSuite, Sage 300, and Acumatica
  • Preferred: Warehouse Management System business processes
  • Preferred: AWS API Gateway and Lambda
  • Preferred: Message queues/event-driven architecture (Service Bus, SQS, RabbitMQ)
  • Preferred: OAuth 2.0/API key authentication patterns
  • Preferred: Multi-tenant SaaS architectures
  • Preferred: Carrier shipping APIs (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
  • Preferred: Spring.NET or IoC/DI container experience
  • Preferred: CI/CD pipeline automation
  • Preferred: Cloud/SaaS environments
  • Preferred: Reading and maintaining legacy code
  • Preferred: Postman/API testing tools proficiency
  • Preferred: Use of AI prompts for development assistance
