Job Description

Epic Solution Delivery Specialist supporting complex Epic configurations and implementations for Interwell Health’s kidney-care management programs. Mentoring analysts and partnering with stakeholders on healthcare system enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support across multiple Epic modules
  • Support complex development efforts and cross-functional projects
  • Assist with overseeing full product lifecycles
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders
  • Mentor team members and ensure quality standards
  • Shape the long-term vision for Epic system enhancements
  • Conduct workflow assessments and propose advanced Epic solutions for custom workflows or integrations
  • Review and analyze detailed requirements to ensure proper solution implementation
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for Epic implementation projects
  • Lead smaller projects and development initiatives within the Epic application
  • Own specific features and smaller development projects, and lead configuration and design for a module or advanced feature
  • Guide and mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts on project tasks, troubleshooting, and Epic configurations
  • Conduct detailed testing and validation to ensure systems meet user requirements
  • Identify and correct complex issues without supervision
  • Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training on built solutions to end-users
  • Provide innovative ideas to improve system efficiency and user experience
  • Provide regular feedback to Epic on potential system improvements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic product development, and/or enterprise software delivery
  • 5+ years of Epic experience with deep understanding of Epic system configurations, workflows, and best practices
  • Associate’s Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Informatics, or related fields or equivalent experience
  • Advanced understanding of the Epic system and deep technical knowledge across multiple Epic modules
  • Required Epic certification in one or more relevant applications completed and maintained: Cadence, Prelude
  • Ability to take initiative and lead smaller project teams and development initiatives without supervision
  • Strong project management skills, including progress reporting, risk management, and time tracking
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing tasks and team leadership
  • Ability to adapt to rapid workplace changes, including scheduling adjustments, workflows, policies, or processes
  • Ability to maintain agility and flexibility to changing business needs
