Job Description
Sr Spend Manager leading healthcare client programs, contract optimization, and advanced analytics at Vizient. Advising executives and driving measurable supply-chain value.
Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of client workplans and independently manage complex programs
- Build strategic, trust-based relationships with client leaders and align Vizient solutions with client priorities
- Analyze complex data and translate analytics into strategic recommendations
- Communicate findings through analytical storytelling to support informed decision-making
- Oversee contract performance across multiple categories to optimize utilization and value realization
- Lead strategic initiatives and facilitate executive-level discussions
- Provide strategic guidance and consultation across multiple functions as a trusted client advisor
- Operate autonomously, mentor peers, and support team standardization and continuous improvement
- Apply advanced problem-solving and critical thinking to complex issues and implement innovative solutions
Requirements:
- Relevant degree preferred
- 5 or more years of relevant experience required
- Experience in account management, category management, or healthcare supply chain
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and communicate insights effectively to senior executives
- Deep understanding of contract lifecycle management and performance optimization
- Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and influencing skills with executive-level presence
- Experience leading organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Salesforce and analytics platforms preferred
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and mentor team members
- Willingness to travel
