Job Description
Senior Technical Program Manager driving complex cross-functional initiatives for PayNearMe’s payment-experience platform. Scaling agile delivery practices across engineering, product, compliance, and business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, cross-functional programs from inception through launch across engineering, product, compliance, and business teams
- Own portfolio-level roadmapping, yearly roadmap planning, priorities, and trade-offs
- Drive change management and enablement efforts to align and empower teams and drive adoption of processes, tools, and programs
- Scale TPM best practices, tooling standards, and delivery frameworks across teams and platforms
- Coach teams on delivery-process adoption
- Identify friction points, align stakeholders, and establish repeatable execution frameworks
- Apply agile, scrum, and lean methodologies according to program context
- Understand architectural impacts and navigate technical trade-offs with engineering and product partners
- Develop and manage program plans, roadmaps, and status updates
- Translate business needs into executable plans balancing scope, speed, and quality
- Anticipate systemic risks and dependencies and manage risk and dependency mapping at scale
- Influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex delivery issues to technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to the evolution of TPM best practices
- Report to the Senior Director of Technical Program Management
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of experience managing complex technical programs, ideally in a high-growth or regulated environment
- Proven track record of delivering cross-functional programs with many moving parts on time and with measurable impact
- Hands-on experience administering or configuring Jira and other Agile tooling for scaling teams
- Strong change management experience
- Ability to guide teams through ambiguity and align around shifting priorities
- Comfortable translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluency in technical conversations; ability to engage in technical discussions, challenge assumptions, and help scope solutions with engineering and product
- Deep understanding of agile, scrum, and lean methodologies; comfortable coaching teams and adapting practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with senior engineering, product, and business leaders
- Comfortable operating independently, managing ambiguity, and taking ownership at strategic and tactical levels
- Demonstrated comfort flexing across program, project, and team-facilitation-level work
- Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated industries is preferred
