Job Description
Senior Technical Project Lead delivering HL7 integrations across healthcare systems for Bamboo Health, a real-time care intelligence company. Managing complex implementations, Tier 1 accounts, data quality, and technical escalations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical implementation of Bamboo Health HL7 product offerings for healthcare entities
- Execute test plans, analyze message structure and data quality, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Engineering and external partners through production launch
- Serve as a subject matter expert on specifications across customer segments
- Ensure technical and business requirements are met during integration processes
- Build and maintain subject matter expertise on Bamboo Health products
- Serve as Technical Account Manager for assigned Tier 1 accounts
- Provide ongoing oversight of complex integrations and proactively communicate technical risks
- Resolve integration issues and high-priority customer escalations
- Partner with data sources and internal teams to maintain HL7 mappings, implement configuration changes, and ensure reliable connectivity and data exchange
- Identify implementation risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Apply SQL-based data analysis to identify root causes and guide stakeholders toward resolution
- Use AI and automation tools to accelerate documentation, status reporting, task routing, summarization, and data parsing
- Manage complex implementation projects through delivery
- Contribute to Technical Services quality initiatives and track and report performance and data-quality metrics
- Drive improvements in data quality, efficiency, scalability, and standardization across Technical HL7 Services
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Growth, Account Management, Implementation, Product, and Support
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience independently managing healthcare projects involving cross-functional internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience with HL7 standards and specifications
- Experience with integration engines such as Mirth is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote environment
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries to analyze large data sets
- High proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Experience with Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence
- Proficiency with Salesforce products is a plus
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Comfort using or learning AI-supported tools such as ChatGPT and CoPilot
- Forward-thinking, curious mindset with openness to experimenting with new technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly evolving environments
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment
- Ability to travel periodically for work
