Job Description
Senior Web Developer safeguarding digital assets by implementing security measures for Prevailance. Managing risk, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safeguarding digital assets by implementing robust security measures, managing risk, and ensuring our systems remain compliant with rigorous federal standards.
- Maintain and enforce security protocols in alignment with DoDM 8140.03 standards.
- Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate violations using advanced Cyber Defense (CD) methodologies.
- Manage the security posture of the enterprise, ensuring all technical and administrative controls are functioning as intended.
- Oversee security for specific Operating Systems and Computing Environments (OS/CE), ensuring all personnel with privileged access are properly trained and certified.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to identify potential weak points in the infrastructure and recommend remediation strategies.
- Deep understanding of network security, encryption, and threat detection tools.
- Navigate complex IAM frameworks to align security goals with organizational objectives.
- Identify system vulnerabilities and implement effective, long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical security risks to leadership.
Requirements:
- Candidates must meet the following baseline certification requirements:
- IAT Level II: Must hold one of the following: Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security.
- IAM Level II: Must hold one of the following: CISSP (or Associate), CISM, CASP-CE, CAP, or GSLC.
- Cyber Defense (CD): Must possess at least one of the following specialized certifications: CEH, GCIA, CSIH, or GCIH.
- OS/CE Certification: A valid Operating System/Computing Environment certificate of training is required for the systems you will be managing with privileged access.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from an accredited university or CNSSI 4011 Information System Security (INFOSEC) Professional certification or a minimum of 6 years of direct professional experience in a cybersecurity or information assurance role.
- Possesses and maintain Top Secret Clearance (SCI preferred)
