Job Description

SEO Specialist developing and executing SEO strategies for D2B. Responsible for improving website visibility and driving qualified organic traffic through effective SEO initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website visibility.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities aligned with business objectives.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts using on-page SEO best practices.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate with developers to fix issues such as crawl errors, indexing problems, and site speed optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Track and report on key SEO metrics, including traffic, rankings, conversions, and overall performance.
  • Execute ethical link-building strategies to strengthen domain authority and improve off-page SEO.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams to ensure SEO is integrated across all digital initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1 - 3 years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Must have experience handling New Zealand or Australian digital marketing accounts or clients
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
