Job Description
Remote Overheard campus correspondent creating short-form videos, interviews, vlogs, and written content about college life. Reporting campus trends and events to shape future content planning.
Responsibilities:
- Create 3 short-form videos per month capturing the funniest and most relatable parts of college life
- Create street interviews, talk-to-camera videos, campus vlogs, static content, and written posts using prompts from the content calendar
- Report on campus trends, traditions, and major events to help shape future content planning
- Represent Overheard as the face of the candidate’s campus
Requirements:
- Must be a current college student
- Must have availability to receive internship credit
- Comfortable on camera
- Confident approaching strangers for interviews
- Experienced filming and editing TikToks or Reels
- Deeply tapped into campus culture and stereotypes
- Reliable, creative, and funny
- Submit a 30–60 second video speaking directly to the camera
- Provide college or university, year, major, clubs/organizations/extracurricular activities, typical weekend, student stereotype, and desired campus coverage topics
