Job Description
Social Media and Community Intern supporting Credo Beauty, a clean beauty retailer, across TikTok, Reddit, and Instagram. Growing community engagement, creating trend-driven content, and tracking social performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive business growth across TikTok, Reddit, and Instagram
- Collaborate with the Social Team to produce visually appealing, trend-driven TikTok content aligned with Credo Beauty’s brand vision and Gen Z audience
- Build and nurture an online community of clean beauty enthusiasts
- Facilitate daily conversations, encourage user-generated content, and manage DMs, comments, and tagged posts
- Support communications with external brand partners regarding brand and product launches, service rollouts, and other initiatives
- Conduct weekly analysis of beauty industry TikTok trends
- Monitor and analyze weekly social media metrics for new channels
- Provide insights to optimize future strategies and adapt to changing algorithms
- Assist with additional marketing initiatives as needed
- Report to the Content Manager
Requirements:
- Intern-level experience
- Solid background in retail, beauty, or fashion
- Genuine passion for clean beauty
- Proven track record of growing emerging social channels such as TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube Shorts
- Familiarity with TikTok and best practices for community engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Creative mindset and ability to generate innovative content ideas for diverse audiences
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools, such as Dash Social
- Ability to collaborate with a team and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Availability to work 12–15 hours per week during EST business hours
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
