Job Description

Software Architect defining telecom protocol-decoding and data-processing architecture at Infovista. Enabling AI-driven network intelligence across 5G, IoT, and fixed networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategic architecture and technical roadmap for protocol decoding, data correlation, and enrichment platforms
  • Establish architectural principles, standards, and best practices across related products
  • Drive technology selection and major design decisions, balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and cost
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and domain experts to align technical direction with business objectives
  • Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership on complex architectural challenges
  • Drive alignment of architecture decisions across products, teams, and technology domains to maximize platform consistency and reuse
  • Evolve architectural approaches for standardized diagnostic and measurement data from mobile core and access network protocols
  • Ensure decoded measurement data is accurately translated into common data models used across products and analytics platforms
  • Maintain backward compatibility, scalability, and long-term maintainability of decoder solutions
  • Define data models, dimensions, and contextual information to transform raw measurements into curated datasets
  • Establish rules for data enrichment and correlation

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of mobile telecommunications
  • Strong understanding of 4G and 5G Core network architectures
  • Expertise in signaling and transport protocols including Diameter, GTP, HTTP/2-based SBI interfaces, and related 3GPP standards
  • Experience with IMS, VoLTE, and VoNR ecosystems
  • Understanding of network slicing, CUPS, and cloud-native core architectures
  • Strong software engineering background, including distributed and data-intensive systems
  • Deep understanding of relevant 3GPP standards and their evolution across 4G and 5G networks
  • C++ experience
  • Preferred: Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics platforms
  • Preferred: Knowledge of AI/ML data preparation and feature engineering
  • Preferred: Understanding of data lineage, governance, and data quality frameworks
  • Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-native and distributed system architectures
  • Preferred: Knowledge of statistical analysis and performance modeling techniques
