Job Description
Software Development Engineer building Azure CLI and Azure PowerShell developer tools for Centific’s cloud infrastructure and automation projects. Developing Python or C# features with global engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain features for Azure CLI using Python or Azure PowerShell using C#
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Engage in open-source development and CI/CD workflows
- Contribute to developer tools supporting cloud infrastructure and automation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of software development experience
- Deep knowledge of Python for CLI or C# for PowerShell
- Strong problem-solving and design skills
- Demonstrated passion for quality, performance, and engineering excellence
- Familiarity with open-source development practices
- Proficient in English (writing, reading, listening, and speaking)
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools is preferred
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is preferred
- Experience using automation and DevOps tools (Git) to support and manage CI/CD pipelines is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with complex technical systems is preferred
- Windows and Linux server hands-on system experience is preferred
