Job Description

Engenheiro Android desenvolvendo o App Vender e integrações POS na Stone, empresa brasileira de tecnologia e serviços financeiros. Garantindo vendas, cobranças, NFC-e e impressão confiáveis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Vender App modules and shared libraries
  • Ensure flawless operation of the critical workflow, from the sale and payment collection through NFC-e issuance and printing
  • Continuously integrate modules with POS platform SDKs
  • Prevent duplicate payment issues and failures at the point of sale
  • Work with payment terminals, embedded systems, printers, readers, and hardware SDKs as applicable
  • Collaborate in an environment that values teamwork, flexibility, continuous development, and solutions for Brazilian entrepreneurs

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in native Android development with Kotlin (required); sufficient Java knowledge to navigate legacy code
  • Deep knowledge of Coroutines and Flow, including scopes, cancellation, StateFlow/SharedFlow, backpressure, and testing asynchronous flows
  • Strong command of software architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and SOLID principles, with the ability to explain trade-offs
  • Experience with modularization and Gradle in multi-module projects, including version catalogs, flavors, build types, and buildConfigField
  • Experience with dependency injection using Hilt/Dagger in a multi-module project
  • Knowledge of Jetpack Compose, state management, recomposition, performance, and testability, with the ability to work comfortably with legacy XML
  • Experience with persistence and networking: local SQL (SQLDelight or Room), Retrofit/OkHttp, offline-first strategies, synchronization, and connectivity failure handling
  • Experience with unit and integration testing, mocks/fakes, ViewModel, and Flow (MockK, Turbine, or equivalent tools)
  • Knowledge of Android Services and lifecycle management: BroadcastReceiver, background services, WorkManager/ForegroundService
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD, trunk-based development and release branches, and configuring or troubleshooting pipelines
