Job Description
Solution Consultant driving technical wins for Workiva’s financial reporting, GRC, and sustainability platform. Building demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept for Nordic customers.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales and internal stakeholders to drive technical wins across target opportunities
- Connect platform capabilities, automated data workflows, and practical AI tools to measurable customer outcomes
- Uncover technical requirements through collaborative discovery
- Develop example solutions, prototypes, and proofs of concept
- Engage customers, prospects, and partners via phone, web, or onsite meetings
- Drive discovery and identify where Workiva solutions address customer needs
- Work with Client Services to support onboarding and long-term customer success
- Develop working knowledge of industries, departments, and relevant use cases
- Conduct generic and targeted demonstrations for Financial Reporting and Controls solutions
- Develop use cases and use templates to demonstrate solution impact and value
- Conduct process assessments and build and present customer-specific business cases
- Deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring to peers
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success
- Assist Sales with account plans supporting Workiva strategies and objectives
- Own Opportunity Technical Evaluations and drive verified technical wins
- Guide customers on data connectivity, automated reporting workflows, and practical AI capabilities
- Conduct solution discovery and value presentations across Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability solutions
Requirements:
- 4+ years of related career experience in pre-sales/solution consulting or management consulting (e.g., Big 4 or equivalent)
- Background in solution consulting, technical sales, or solution delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executives
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
- Hands-on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures preferred
- Experience with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A, or Analytics & Reporting solutions
- Ability to present value-based, compelling software demonstrations
- Working knowledge or practical experience with emerging AI capabilities
- Familiarity with enterprise data structures, API integrations, or cross-domain platform solutions
- Up to 30% travel for customer and internal meetings
- Reliable internet access for periods working remotely
- Required to undergo comprehensive security and privacy training
