Job Description
Solutions Architect deploying Deepgram's speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice-agent APIs for Arabic-speaking MENA customers. Leading implementations, evaluations, and regional technical partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical design and delivery of customer implementations across MENA from kickoff through production cutover
- Lead technical discovery, proof-of-concept design, and evaluations for regional prospects with Account Executives
- Design solutions fitting each customer's stack, constraints, and data-residency requirements
- Represent Deepgram to Arabic-speaking customers and at regional events
- Bring Arabic-language customer feedback, including model performance across dialects, to Product and Research teams
- Develop reusable implementation patterns, reference architectures, and deployment playbooks
- Support complex post-onboarding cases in the region
- Help extend team coverage toward APAC hours as the team grows
- Complete onboarding, shadow implementation engagements and discovery calls, then own engagements and technical relationships for assigned regional accounts
Requirements:
- Native or professional-level fluency in Arabic
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Base in the MENA region (preferred) or elsewhere in EMEA, in a country where Deepgram's employment partner supports hiring
- 4+ years of experience implementing or deploying technical solutions for enterprise customers, ideally in customer-facing technical roles
- Strong software engineering background with professional development experience in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Rust, or similar
- Experience leading technical delivery of production deployments, from design through cutover
- Proven ability to scope complex technical work and sequence it for successful delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort across multiple Arabic dialects (Egyptian, Gulf, Levantine, North African) preferred
- Experience with speech recognition, natural language processing, AI voice agents, or related AI technologies preferred
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred
- Experience with SIP, WebRTC, and WebSocket streaming preferred
- French preferred
- Familiarity with procurement, information security, and data-residency expectations in the region preferred
