Job Description
Solutions Engineer delivering German and English demos for Qargo’s cloud-based transport management platform. Translating logistics customer needs into technical solutions and product feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging technical demos and walkthroughs of the Qargo TMS platform in German and English
- Establish the Solutions Engineering function in Germany
- Build localised demo environments, German-language materials, and repeatable demo flows
- Tailor demo environments and solution configurations to customer workflows and operational requirements
- Analyse customer needs and recommend product fit, integration requirements, and system usage
- Support Business Development Managers with technical scoping and feasibility assessments
- Translate customer requirements and sales conversations into structured technical feedback for Product and Engineering teams
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Qargo features, roadmap, integrations, and API capabilities
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and detailed platform walkthrough documentation
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to incorporate customer requirements into product development
- Improve demo tooling, training materials, and customer onboarding processes
- Apply transport and logistics domain knowledge to guide customers on best practices
- Monitor sector trends, regulatory requirements, and technology changes affecting German and wider European transport customers
Requirements:
- Based in Germany
- Fluent in both German and English
- Multiple years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role, such as support, onboarding, consulting, pre-sales, or similar
- Experience in the transport or logistics sector is essential
- Strong understanding of industry processes, workflows, and operational challenges
- Strong communication and presentation skills with both technical and commercial audiences
- A hands-on, analytical approach to problem-solving
- Experience with a Transport Management System (TMS) would be a plus
- Willing to travel for on-site demos and customer meetings in Germany
- Comfortable working independently and building something new as the first in the market
