Job Description
Solutions Engineer serving as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle at OX Security. Collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver business value to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical sales cycle end-to-end, from the first demo through Proof of Concept to technical win, articulating both technical capabilities and business value to engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
- Partner with the sales team to develop technical strategies aligned with customer needs and drive deal success.
- Work closely with security and engineering teams to understand their DevSecOps workflows and position the platform effectively.
- Act as the bridge between customers and OX Security’s Product and Engineering teams, bringing customer feedback into product development.
- Support deals through technical proposals, architecture guidance, and tailored documentation.
- Represent OX Security at conferences, events, and customer meetings, including travel to support strategic opportunities.
Requirements:
- A strong sales mindset, the type of Solutions Engineer who fights for every deal and turns over every stone to find creative solutions and workarounds for customers.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate challenging security objections and build trust with both technical teams and executive leadership.
- Understanding of the sales process end-to-end and the ability to drive a technical win, not just deliver the technical solution.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
- Ideally 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or technical pre-sales, preferably in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of supporting successful deals and contributing to revenue.
- Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or experience as a software developer.
- Fluent in at least one additional European language besides English, Spanish, or French (German strongly preferred).
