Job Description
Freelance Spanish (Uruguay) linguist delivering apparel-brand transcreation from UK English. Creating compelling copy that preserves global clients’ brand voice, tone, and messaging.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver transcreations from UK English to Spanish (Uruguay), preserving the intended message, voice, and tone
- Ensure target copy is fluent, aligned with the brand’s personality, and stylistically compelling
- Write creative and compelling copy that resonates with and engages the target audience for selected deliverables
Requirements:
- Native-speaker level knowledge of Spanish (Uruguay)
- Excellent creative writing skills and ability to adapt writing styles and tone for different target audiences
- Experience with translating marketing copy while maintaining brand voice and messaging
- Knowledge of technical writing principles and ability to translate complex technical language into easy-to-understand copy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide constructive feedback

- Selected applicants must complete an unpaid testing task
