Job Description
Medical Information Specialist translating and answering drug inquiries for EVERSANA’s life sciences clients. Handling adverse events, product complaints, regulatory reporting, and medical writing.
Responsibilities:
- Translate English documents into the target language or vice versa and deliver translated responses by phone or in writing
- Triage and respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers/patients
- Disseminate drug information verbally or in written correspondence
- Identify adverse events and product complaints during customer interactions
- Collect information for initial adverse event and product complaint reports in compliance with SOPs
- Fulfill local regulatory authority requirements for post-marketing adverse event reporting
- Assess required information and determine the appropriate depth of information collection
- Write adverse event and product complaint narratives and medical inquiry custom responses
- Coordinate quality-related complaint processes with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants
- Evaluate medical literature and develop written information for healthcare professionals
- Conduct market and competitive product research
- Support system development, sales training projects, and field liaison activities
- Perform medical writing and assigned on-call responsibilities
- Maintain and improve Medical Communications Call Centre customer service and performance metrics
Requirements:
- Life Sciences or healthcare degree or equivalent
- Strong clinical background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- English C1 level is obligatory
- Native fluency in Italian is essential
- Strong translation skills
- Fluent English along with Native Spanish
- Brazilian Portuguese is a plus
- Call center, Medical Information, pharmaceutical industry, and clinical experience including medical writing preferred
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications
- Experience using Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases, or equivalent preferred
- Must be legally eligible to work in the European Union or in the UK
- Ability to work US hours, 9-hour shifts between 2pm and 2am CET, Monday–Friday
- Ability to travel up to 10%
