Job Description

Medical Information Specialist supporting EVERSANA’s life-sciences commercialization services. Handling multilingual drug inquiries, adverse-event intake, product complaints, and medical writing during US hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to product information requests through call center staffing and medical communications
  • Translate English documents into the target language or vice versa and deliver translated responses by phone or in writing
  • Triage and respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients
  • Disseminate drug information verbally or in written correspondence
  • Identify adverse events and product complaints during customer interactions
  • Perform intake to generate initial adverse event and product complaint reports in compliance with company and client SOPs
  • Fulfill local regulatory authority requirements for post-marketing adverse event reporting
  • Assess what information must be obtained and determine the appropriate depth of information collection
  • Write adverse event and product complaint narratives and medical inquiry custom responses
  • Coordinate quality-related complaint response processes with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants
  • Evaluate medical literature and develop written information for healthcare professionals
  • Support market and competitive product research, system development, sales training projects, and field liaison activities
  • Perform medical writing and assigned on-call responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve Medical Communications Call Centre customer service and process metrics

Requirements:

  • Life Sciences or healthcare degree or equivalent
  • Strong clinical background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • English C1 level obligatory
  • Mother tongue fluency in Italian essential
  • Strong translation skills
  • Fluent English along with Native Spanish
  • Brazilian Portuguese is a plus
  • Call Center, Medical Information, pharmaceutical industry, and clinical experience, including medical writing, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications
  • Experience with Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases, or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work US hours, 9-hour shifts between 2pm and 2am CET, Monday-Friday
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the European Union or the UK
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
