Job Description
Specialty Care Field Medical Director for Sickle Cell Disease at Pfizer. Delivering medical content, engaging stakeholders, and enhancing patient care for sickle cell disease.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute independent Medical strategy and engagement for external medical stakeholders
- Maintain required level of knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines
- Serve as a conduit and resource for Medical Information and external medical stakeholder insights
- Educate external medical stakeholders based on patient care gaps aligned to medical strategy
- Achieve leadership-defined expectations regarding the number of external medical stakeholders engaged
- Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines
- Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise
- Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs leadership with clinical/professional associations
Requirements:
- MD or DO Degree required
- 4+ years of relevant experience required
- Subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a significant volume of projects in a remote environment
- Work within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrate change agility
- Familiarity with internal/external SOPs/Rules/Regulations regarding Pfizer/external medical stakeholder interactions and relationships (Preferred)
- Previous Field Medical experience (Preferred)
