Job Description

Staff Accountant managing finance and accounting tasks at Fors Marsh. Responsible for accounts payable, receivable, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Processes accounts payable PO vouchers in Deltek Costpoint.
  • Sends accounts payable report to Director of Accounting for approval of payment.
  • Prepares payment for accounts payable in Deltek Costpoint.
  • Investigates all vendor related inquiries.
  • Processes Expense Reports and reconciles Company Credit Cards in Deltek Time & Expense.
  • Records electronic deposits to client records.
  • Records cash receipts to client records.
  • Reconciles cash daily.
  • Maintains a cash flow reconciliation daily.
  • Reconciles bank accounts, credit cards and loans monthly.
  • Provides Director of Accounting with reconciliations for review and approval.
  • Files monthly and quarterly reports with appropriate agencies.
  • Enters journal entries as needed.
  • Maintains records and works with outside auditors.
  • Updates fixed assets in asset tracker for additions and deletions.
  • Maintains records for fixed asset purchases and disposals.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense Required.
  • 2 -4 years' experience in an accounting and Government Contracting position required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration with a concentration in accounting required.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter.
  • Self-motivated, driven positive attitude.
  • Great team player and able to work under tight timelines and pressure.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and superb organizational skills.
  • Willingness to listen and learn, with ability to multi-task.
