Job Description

Staff Engineer delivering Oracle EBS Finance techno-functional solutions for Nagarro’s digital product engineering company. Supporting financial operations, integrations, reporting, and production systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Finance Consultant bridging business requirements and technical solutions
  • Provide primary support for Oracle EBS Financials, including incidents, enhancements, production support, and period-close activities
  • Work with finance teams, business users, and stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and recommend solutions
  • Lead requirements-gathering workshops and prepare functional and technical documentation according to AIM/OUM methodologies
  • Support Month-End/Year-End Close, Bank Integrations, Account Reconciliation, Subledger Accounting, and financial reporting
  • Lead and participate in CRP, UAT, system testing, and end-user training
  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain RICEW components
  • Develop complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL database solutions
  • Develop and maintain BI Publisher/XML Publisher and Oracle Reports reports and templates
  • Design and support inbound and outbound Oracle EBS integrations with third-party applications
  • Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning
  • Troubleshoot functional and technical issues and implement corrective solutions
  • Deliver enhancements with technical and functional teams while following Oracle EBS standards
  • Manage technical activities using FNDLOAD, SQL*Loader, and Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • Participate in upgrades, patches, deployments, integrations, and production support
  • Maintain documentation for requirements, technical designs, testing, deployment, and support procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams across geographies
  • Identify process improvement, automation, optimization, and user-experience opportunities
  • Provide technical and functional guidance and contribute to knowledge sharing
  • Ensure high-quality delivery, client satisfaction, communication, and ownership throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Total experience 6+ years
  • At least 5 years of relevant Oracle EBS experience
  • Strong experience in Oracle EBS Financials with techno-functional expertise
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 / R12.2.x
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Financial modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and SLA
  • Understanding of financial business processes, accounting principles, trial balance reconciliation, subledger reconciliation, period close, and financial reporting
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Experience with RICEW components: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows
  • SQL, PL/SQL, database objects, and Oracle database performance tuning
  • Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI/XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow Builder
  • Understanding of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle EBS technical architecture
  • Experience developing PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Views
  • Experience developing custom reports and document templates using BI Publisher/XML Publisher and Oracle Reports
  • Experience with Oracle APIs, Web Services, interface tables, and integration mechanisms
  • Experience with FNDLOAD, SQL*Loader, and Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • Experience supporting Month-End/Year-End Close, Bank Integrations, Account Reconciliation, and period-close activities
  • Experience working with business users and finance teams
  • Experience in requirements gathering, technical/functional documentation, and AIM/OUM methodologies, including BR100, MD050, MD070, and TE040
  • Functional candidates may be considered subject to assessment of the stated technical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Ability to work 5:00 PM–2:00 AM IST
