Job Description
Staff Engineer delivering Oracle EBS SCM procurement and supply-chain solutions at Nagarro, a digital product engineering company. Supporting integrations, workflows, reporting, and production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Oracle EBS Techno-Functional SCM Consultant and subject matter expert
- Provide functional and technical support for Oracle Procurement and SCM modules
- Partner with procurement, sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, warehouse, and business teams
- Analyze requirements, conduct fit-gap assessments, and design scalable Oracle EBS solutions
- Support and optimize end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes
- Design, develop, test, and deploy RICEW components
- Customize iProcurement and iSupplier Portal interfaces using OAF
- Develop database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL
- Build and maintain approval processes using AME and Oracle Workflow Builder
- Develop operational reports, RFQ templates, Purchase Order documents, and procurement reports using BI/XML Publisher
- Develop and support inbound and outbound integrations with third-party applications
- Perform SQL, PL/SQL, interface, and database performance tuning
- Troubleshoot functional and technical issues and implement corrective solutions
- Support requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Maintain AIM/OUM functional and technical documentation
- Support system testing, CRPs, UAT, deployment, and post-production validation
- Manage technical activities using FNDLOAD, SQL*Loader, and Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Collaborate with internal teams, project managers, stakeholders, and external suppliers
- Identify automation, process improvement, and system optimization opportunities
- Maintain development standards, coding practices, documentation, and Oracle EBS best practices
- Provide knowledge sharing and technical guidance
- Own technical deliverables and resolve project and production issues
Requirements:
- Total experience 6+ years
- Strong experience in Oracle EBS SCM with techno-functional expertise
- Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 / R12.2.x
- Functional expertise in Oracle Procurement and SCM modules, including iSupplier Portal, iProcurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, Inventory, and Order Management
- Understanding of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay lifecycle
- Understanding of RFX/negotiation processes, requisition-to-PO conversion, supplier management, purchasing operations, inventory processes, and supply chain workflows
- Experience supporting and enhancing Oracle EBS SCM applications, production support, incident resolution, and business process improvements
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying RICEW components
- Hands-on expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle database objects, and database performance tuning
- Experience with OAF personalization and extensions for iProcurement and iSupplier Portal
- Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and AME
- Experience with BI/XML Publisher
- Experience with FNDLOAD, SQL*Loader, and Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience preparing documentation using AIM/OUM methodologies, including BR100, MD050, MD070, and TE040
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Contracts or Procurement Contracts
- Knowledge of PunchOut catalogs and supplier network integrations
- Experience with cXML/EDI integrations and external supplier networks
- Exposure to Oracle EBS R12.2.x upgrades, patching, and online patching
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, or Git/Bitbucket
