Job Description
Staff Product Manager at The RealReal responsible for product vision and strategy in eCommerce supply chain. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize inbound processes.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and deliver quarterly roadmap focused on operational excellence in the outbound/logistics space as conveyance, and robotics integrations.
- Translate business goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, operations, and AI/ML to build, launch, and iterate on internal products.
- Lead cross-functional product development cycles using Agile methodologies for a single product engineering team.
- Identify product gaps, monitor performance against quarterly OKRs, and propose enhancements based on insights and user feedback.
- Serve as the key liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity across all phases of development.
- Champion a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and customer-centric thinking.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in eCommerce platforms or operations.
- Experience working with tooling for item creation and item cataloging.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-driven automation, especially in computer vision, tagging/classification, or digital media processing.
- Proven success managing the end-to-end product lifecycle —from concept through launch and iteration, including build and buy solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with engineering teams and vendor integrations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, merchandising, operations and more.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and ceremonies.
- Self-driven and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to translate complicated business concepts to digestible components and capabilities.
- Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Work independently with direction.
