Job Description
Professional System Engineer responsible for IT infrastructure projects in customer environments. Supporting clients in North-West Switzerland with consulting and engineering tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Project implementation within your area of expertise in an SME environment (design, installation and configuration of services)
- Support and project collaboration on cross-team large projects within your area of expertise
- Competent consulting, support and servicing of customers – remotely and on-site (consulting, engineering, sourcing, cloud)
- Support for operation and maintenance within the assigned customer group
- Independent execution of your tasks in cooperation with your team colleagues or in cross-departmental competence teams
- Participation in the development of services or in the automation of existing processes – depending on your skills and preferences
Requirements:
- Prior knowledge, experience and ideally certifications in one or more of the following technologies: network and perimeter security with Fortinet products
- Hybrid cloud infrastructure environments with Microsoft cloud services (Entra, M365 Suite)
- Modern workplace environments with Microsoft Intune
- Messaging with Exchange Online or Exchange On-Prem including ancillary systems
- Core Microsoft services such as Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, etc.
- Completed IT apprenticeship (Federal VET Diploma, EFZ) in IT (System Technology, Platform Development or Generalist) with several years of professional experience
- Further education to expand your knowledge (e.g. Higher Technical School HF, Federal Diploma of Higher Education FA) or product certifications – ideally
- A healthy spirit of innovation and motivation to improve and further develop customer environments
- Excellent German language skills and good English skills
