Job Description
Software Engineer responsible for the technical foundation of intake and GTM systems at a personal injury law firm. Leading automation and AI integrations for efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Own, extend, and optimize our AWS-based orchestration layer that powers lead routing, intelligent filtering, and automated chase sequences across the full intake lifecycle
- Design, build, and maintain integrations across our core GTM stack: HubSpot, Filevine, PandaDoc, Aloware, Zoom, and CTM—ensuring seamless data flow and system reliability
- Monitor data integrity across platforms, proactively diagnosing sync issues, schema changes, and upstream anomalies before they impact business operations
- Develop and deploy automations that improve speed-to-contact, conversion rates, and overall intake efficiency
- Build and extend custom HubSpot UI extensions that streamline intake workflows and surface critical data to operators
- Develop internal tools, dashboards, and React-based components that empower teams to self-serve—reducing dependency on engineering for day-to-day needs
- Build and maintain landing pages with forms for lead capture—clean, performant, conversion-optimized (React, Tailwind)
- Support marketing with ad platform integrations (Google Ads, Meta) for attribution, conversion tracking, and campaign optimization
- Design and build AI-powered agents for lead qualification, automated follow-up sequencing, and intelligent document processing
- Leverage LLMs and emerging AI tools to accelerate experimentation, streamline workflows, and create intelligent automation across the GTM stack
- Develop systems that extract and surface actionable insights from lead, case, and operational data—enabling smarter decision-making at scale
- Partner in the design and building of a centralized data warehouse to support business intelligence, reporting, and strategic decision-making
- Architect and maintain ETL pipelines that consolidate data from HubSpot, Filevine, and other operational systems into reliable, queryable datasets
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to translate ambiguous business questions into testable data models and reporting frameworks
- Develop predictive models for case settlement valuations, leveraging historical case data and outcome patterns to inform case strategy
- Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in parallel, balancing speed with quality
- Move fluidly between AWS infrastructure, API integrations, SQL analysis, and frontend development as the work demands
- Perform end-to-end testing across systems (e.g., lead submission → HubSpot → orchestration layer → Filevine → case creation)
- Document architectural decisions, system behaviors, and operational tradeoffs—building institutional knowledge that scales beyond any single person
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in software engineering, growth engineering, or technical operations
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for automation, integrations, and data transformation
- Technical comfort with APIs, integrations, automation tooling, and system logic
- Solid data fluency with SQL, JSON, and ETL pipelines
- AWS or Azure experience (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, S3 or equivalents)
- Clear communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical designs
- Ability to work US-based hours (core collaboration hours in Central/Eastern time)
Benefits:
- Pay rate based on experience!
