Job Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for sourcing and recruiting candidates for management and craft positions. Utilizing various resources to attract, hire, and retain top talent.

Responsibilities:

  • The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for aggressively sourcing and recruiting top-performing candidates for management and craft positions
  • Utilize a variety of resources, such as job posting outlets, social media, and working within our current workforce to source and hire talent
  • Ensure that Astreya attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of the company’s culture to create a unique and comprehensive strategy to hiring
  • Communicate and embrace the career development opportunities that Astreya embodies
  • Facilitate initial communications and screening interviews so managers are only meeting the most qualified candidates
  • Proactively communicate with Astreya managers and staff to utilize our employee database and further expand our reach
  • Participate in completing daily HR duties including postings, sourcing, referrals, interviews, offers, and handoffs
  • Create and manage social media postings as related to recruitment and company culture
  • Research the current industries recruiting strategies and refine ours to be on the cutting edge
  • Coordinate travel for potential candidates for interviews
  • Attend and/or facilitate career fairs at select universities or other venues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Understanding of how to use social media to attract and engage active and passive technical talent
  • Proficient user of MS Office, including Outlook and Excel
