Job Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist focusing on high-growth hospitality recruitment at Placemakr. Collaborating with various teams to ensure exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with hiring managers, PX (People Experience), and business leaders to develop and execute smart, scalable recruiting strategies.
  • Manage entry to management level requisitions across various departments such as Property Operations, Marketing, Tech, Sales, and Customer Service.
  • Build and nurture a diverse pipeline of both active and passive candidates through thoughtful networking and creative sourcing.
  • Use platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and community partnerships to uncover top talent in innovative ways.
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience from initial conversation to offer acceptance.
  • Provide continuous communication on pipeline activity with hiring managers to ensure recruitment plans are working and effective.
  • Collaborate on tools and initiatives that elevate our recruiting efforts—from employer branding to interview best practices.
  • Bring insights from the broader hiring market to inform strategy and influence decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in hospitality, restaurants, or real estate/property management, or retail (start-up experience is a plus)
  • Experience balancing both high-volume hourly hiring and specialized corporate searches
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (we use Lever)
  • Proven ability to creatively source and engage exceptional talent through a wide variety of resources such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Sourcing, community partnerships, professional networks, etc.
  • Strong communication skills around relationship-building, offer negotiation, and hiring manager consultation
  • Open to new ideas and focused on continuously improving our recruiting process
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-changing environment while keeping a sense of urgency and optimism
  • A self-starter mindset with high ownership and creative energy
