Job Description
Talent Management & Development Specialist at Partners for Rural Impact enhancing talent acquisition and learning in rural communities. Supports employee onboarding and professional development initiatives for rural success.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Build relationships with various internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess talent acquisition needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure consistent application of PRI’s Talent Acquisition Processes and Procedures.
- Support a positive talent acquisition experience for candidates, hiring managers, and hiring committees.
- Conduct phone screens with candidates.
- Participate in recruitment activities and make recommendations to hiring manager.
- Develop and carry out hiring plans in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Post roles on recruitment platforms and source potential candidates online.
- Coordinate reference check process.
- Provide input on talent acquisition system optimization and process improvement.
- Learning & Development: Assess training needs and provide solutions, assist with employee training programs, and provide administrative support for Learning Management System.
- Onboarding: Support employee onboarding process with tools and surveys. Assist in continuous improvement of staff onboarding and professional development.
- Responsible for maintaining confidentiality and accurate storage of HR-related documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, social sciences, or related field
- 3-4 years of related experience, nonprofit experience is a plus
- Experience and commitment to working within rural communities
- Demonstrated success in a complex, fast-paced, high-performing organization, with the ability to prioritize projects
- Able to learn new technology systems
- Project management skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to multi-task and achieve deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to students from diverse economic, social, and cultural backgrounds
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, electronic signature platforms
- Previous experience with applicant tracking systems, learning management systems preferred.
