Job Description
Yardi Technical Analyst supporting Yardi Voyager and RentCafé systems for National Church Residences’ affordable-housing operations. Managing integrations, reporting, compliance data, and user support remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Yardi Voyager and RentCafé systems, including property setup, user roles, and security
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Yardi users
- Resolve technical issues and manage helpdesk tickets
- Monitor and maintain data integrity across Yardi modules, including HUD and LIHTC compliance-related data
- Support integrations between Yardi and other systems using SQL, Yardi ETL, and Microsoft Fabric or similar tools
- Develop and maintain custom reports using Yardi Spreadsheet Reporter (YSR), SQL, and other reporting tools
- Assist with testing and deployment of Yardi upgrades, patches, and new module implementations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
- Document processes, configurations, and data flows to support internal controls and audit readiness
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Contribute to training and user adoption efforts
- Participate in policy creation and problem-solving methods
- Report resident/client complaints and allegations of abuse, misappropriation, or compliance issues to appropriate supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager (7S or newer) and RentCafé in a technical or support role within the Affordable Housing industry required
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and report development preferred
- Experience with Yardi ETL processes and system integrations preferred
- Understanding of property management and accounting workflows
- Experience with RentCafe and other Yardi modules, such as PayScan and Maintenance
- Familiarity with Affordable Housing compliance workflows, including HUD, LIHTC, and TRACS
- Knowledge of additional Yardi modules, such as Maintenance IQ, PayScan, and Construction Manager, preferred
- Background in process improvement or automation
- Good working computer skills with Microsoft Office, Windows, and the capacity to learn new software systems quickly
- Self-directed with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent tasks and assignments
- Ability to successfully lead others in an environment of complexity
- Strong motivational skills and high emotional intelligence quotient (EQ)
- Excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Rare travel, up to 5%
- Yardi certification or formal training in Voyager system administration preferred
- ITIL Foundation or similar service management certification preferred
