Job Description
Technical Program Manager scaling Augmodo’s spatial AI deployments across retail stores. Managing hardware, firmware, computer vision, software deliverables, and store logistics from pilot through rollout.
Responsibilities:
- Own technical partner deployments, scaling spatial AI deployments from pilots to hundreds of retail stores.
- Manage end-to-end deployment logistics across hardware, firmware, software deliverables, and on-site setup.
- Author and maintain the single technical plan for each program, covering CV, hardware, and software milestones, status, and dependencies.
- Break complex rollouts into actionable, metric-tracked steps with clear cadence, owners, and status.
- Measure shipment quality, including detection performance and data integrity, alongside deployment speed.
- Codify effective processes into standardized, repeatable rollout templates.
- Participate in architecture and design trade-off discussions across computer vision, front-end, and back-end systems.
- Identify over-engineered or insufficiently considered solutions.
- Adapt to operational gaps across engineering, product, operations, and customer success.
- Coordinate physical hardware/firmware hand-offs, on-site logistics, and store-level execution with retail partners.
- Translate technical discussions, trade-offs, and risks for non-technical customers in precise plain language.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years managing technical programs, software-hardware deployments, or complex rollouts
- Experience running metrics-driven program cadences, such as weekly business reviews and clear tracking, is a major plus
- Strong grasp of system design across front-end, back-end, cloud, and computer vision concepts
- Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs without writing code
- Proven ability to break ambiguous problems into structured, step-by-step technical plans
- Comfortable coordinating physical hardware/firmware hand-offs, on-site logistics, and store-level execution with retail partners
- Strong capacity to translate technical discussions for non-technical customers using plain language while retaining precision
- Ability to understand system architecture across front-end, back-end, and computer vision systems
