Job Description

Technical Project Manager coordinating enterprise SRE projects for Upsun, a cloud application platform. Translating partner requests into prioritized initiatives and tracking infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary coordination point for a strategic enterprise partner, leading status updates and managing expectations
  • Keep Jira/Linear issue trackers accurately synchronized
  • Translate customer requests and post-incident follow-ups into prioritized tasks for SRE, Security, and Product teams
  • Track milestones, cross-team dependencies, and delivery risks across infrastructure, monitoring, and capacity planning initiatives
  • Handle stakeholder meetings, project administration, and ticket follow-through to protect SRE focus time
  • Establish flexible, pragmatic project tracking practices across the SRE organization

Requirements:

  • 3+ years managing technical projects, program coordination, or customer delivery in software, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps environments
  • Ability to balance formal enterprise-client expectations with a fast-moving scale-up environment
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, web hosting, Linux, and containers
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, clarify fragmented requests, and create accountability without over-engineering processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with enterprise customers and senior internal stakeholders
  • Background checks required
