Job Description

Technical Project Manager overseeing key client engagements at New Era Technology. Responsible for project delivery on time, within scope, and within budget with a focus on client collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing key client engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Duties include establishing timelines, delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and preparing comprehensive reports for senior leadership.
  • Direct collaboration with clients to ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual parameters.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of proven experience in Technical Project Management
  • Financial/banking industry experience
  • Experience managing technical projects in large-scale enterprise environments
  • Background in technology, specifically with network devices and physical infrastructure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence in presenting to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively
  • Proactive in keeping up with evolving technologies and industry trends
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with solid multitasking capabilities
  • CCNA or equivalent knowledge, certifications a plus, but not mandatory; ITIL certification is also a plus
  • Must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
