Job Description
Technical Project Manager managing Agile Release Train delivery for Ford Credit’s vehicle financing technology. Governing complex programs, dependencies, reporting, and cross-functional transformation work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage one or more teams aligned to an Agile Release Train
- Shield delivery teams from planned and unplanned needs
- Collaborate with Transformation leadership to develop Objectives and Key Results
- Manage program intake through assessment, estimation, and planning
- Manage scope change practices and drive governance for scope control
- Coordinate cross-functional teams supporting transformation programs
- Manage weekly health measurement forums, dashboard generation, status reporting, risk monitoring, issue escalations, process audits, and reporting
- Maintain data integrity in Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Enhance quality standards across teams
- Track cross-dependencies with teams external to the program
- Monitor process adherence and activate remediation protocols
- Support organizational change management, user training, and knowledge retention services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant area of study, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 8+ years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area
- Extensive experience using, managing, and supporting teams with Agile program management tools, such as Jira and Confluence
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area
- Preferred: Certification in Project or Program Management such as PMP
- Preferred: Certification in Lean-Agile practices, such as Certified Scrum Master or SAFe
- Preferred: Experience managing complex programs with cloud-native technologies
- Preferred: 12+ years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area
- Preferred: Experience managing programs supporting Platform service-oriented or SaaS based solutions
- Preferred: Experience administering and controlling user access, workflows, and trackers in Jira and Confluence
