Job Description
Specialist overseeing successful execution of product and project deliverables for customers in the technology delivery domain. Coaching Agile teams for effective outcomes and fostering relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the successful execution of product and project deliverables for customers.
- Coach Agile teams toward higher levels of effectiveness.
- Foster psychologically safe team environments.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-informed decision making.
- Lead a development team and collaborate closely with other teams.
- Ensure delivery of products on time, within budget, and scope.
- Represent and advocate for the Agile team at the program level.
- Foster strong relationships and drive positive change.
- Maintain a strong pulse on team health, morale, and engagement.
- Establish and sustain a culture of continuous improvement (kaizen).
- Align team execution with product vision and business goals.
- Promote effective and transparent communication across teams and stakeholders.
- Track and socialize team performance goals and metrics, including velocity and capacity.
- Champion a customer-centric mindset by ensuring team decisions deliver meaningful customer value.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., delivery manager, scrum master, project manager, product owner) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with or managing fully remote teams.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Experience leading teams without formal authority and fostering accountability.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to clearly communicate requirements and scope.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for education and experience working in an educational or product-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Agile and other development or project management frameworks.
- Experience coaching Agile teams and improving team maturity beyond basic facilitation.
- Experience fostering psychologically safe, high-performing team environments.
- Strong understanding of delivery metrics and experience using data to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage the full lifecycle of delivery risks, from identification through resolution.
- Experience working across teams to manage dependencies and optimize system-level delivery outcomes.
- Experience working with software development teams and Agile SDLC processes.
