Job Description

Emerson Professional Tool Specialist promoting RIDGID and Greenlee equipment across Orlando-area electrical, plumbing, utility, and industrial customers. Demonstrating products, training users, and driving territory adoption.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and support the RIDGID® and Greenlee® product portfolio with end users across electrical, mechanical, utility, plumbing, industrial, and construction markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with tradespeople, supervisors, safety leaders, purchasing professionals, project teams, and business owners
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and educational presentations for customers, apprenticeship programs, and industry professionals
  • Develop and execute plans to increase product specification, adoption, and standardization within assigned territories and key customer accounts
  • Partner with Product Managers, Territory Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Professional Tool Specialist Leads, and distribution partners on strategic initiatives, qualified leads, and customer opportunities
  • Document demonstrations, training activities, opportunities, presentations, and expenses using reporting and CRM tools
  • Identify customer challenges and recommend solutions aligned with customer needs
  • Share market insights, competitive information, and customer feedback with the broader sales team
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast Region

Requirements:

  • Experience with tool applications and strong mechanical aptitude related to electrical, utility, plumbing, or similar tools
  • Strong preference for experience or knowledge of electrical systems and related tools
  • Excellent communication skills, including synthesizing large amounts of information into clear, concise messages
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of achieving goals and sales objectives
  • Strong time and territory management skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to travel 50% within Florida
  • Must reside in the Orlando, FL area for territory coverage
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook preferred
  • CRM application experience is a plus
  • Experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or other pipe trades preferred
  • Experience with distribution channels preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided
