Job Description
Transmission Engineer/Trainer designing and maintaining transmission networks at Overture Rede. Focused on IP RAN, network management, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain ZTE IPRAN transmission networks.
- Manage IP/MPLS-based transport networks for 2G/3G/4G/5G RAN.
- Monitor network performance, traffic flow, and link utilization.
- Perform fault troubleshooting and root cause analysis in IP RAN networks.
- Configure routing protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and MPLS.
- Support network expansion, optimization, and software upgrades.
- Coordinate with RAN, Core, and OSS teams for end-to-end service delivery.
- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and change records.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Transmission / IPRAN networks
- Hands-on experience with ZTE IPRAN equipment and solutions
- Strong knowledge of IP networking and MPLS technologies
- Experience with routing protocols: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP
- Understanding of VLAN, QoS, VPN, and traffic engineering
- Knowledge of network monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with telecom RAN and transmission integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
