Job Description

Traveling EMT or Paramedic providing occupational health services at Medcor clinics on U.S. construction and industrial sites. Assessing injuries, documenting care, and supporting screenings, testing, and wellness programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to various clinics, primarily construction and industrial locations
  • Assess and treat injuries and illnesses onsite following Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs)
  • Support pre-employment screenings, return-to-work evaluations, and employee wellness initiatives
  • Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Collaborate with Medcor leadership, local healthcare providers, and client contacts
  • Provide customer service in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Adapt to varying days, hours, and locations based on client needs
  • Conduct onsite drug and alcohol testing
  • Participate in onsite wellness offerings and talks

Requirements:

  • Active EMT or Paramedic license in any of the 50 states of the United States of America
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
  • Willingness to travel frequently and accept flexible assignments
  • Comfortable working in construction environments, at heights, and on stairs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comprehension and aptitude to learn and use Electronic Medical Record software
  • Prior experience in EMS or occupational health preferred
  • Familiarity with EMRs or electronic charting preferred
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred, not required
  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive, team-first attitude preferred
  • Experience in public speaking preferred
